What is Younglife?

Who We Are

Young Life is a Christian ministry that reaches out to middle school, high school, and college students in the Lake Country area. ​ Our mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. ​ We are powered by volunteer leaders, led by our Area Director and guided by our Committee. ​

Powered By Leaders

Mature Christians who engage in the four C's of YoungLife: Contact work, Club, Community and Camps. ​ They earn the right to be heard by meeting kids where they are and serve as a positive role model who share the Good News of Jesus Christ. ​ Leaders are the backbone of our ministry they range in age from 16 to 85 and go through background checks before being trained by Young Life staff and our Area Director. ​
They are often people who were changed by Jesus through Young Life and want to continue their faith journey by passing the gift to others. ​ They provide the energy, the enthusiasm and the time to our area's kids. YoungLife is a relational ministry and Leaders are its most important element. ​

Committee

Passionate community members working behind the scenes to support the area. ​ Create a vision, accountability and bring resources to the ministry for long term sustainability. ​

Chris Fanning

Area Director:
Ministers to leaders and kids in our area. Builds relationships, supervises clubs and community, leads camp trips and is the primary point of contact for Lake Country Young Life.

Kierin Isham

Administrator:
Handles back office administration, communication, sign ups, registration and logistics. ​ Assists with committee organization and serves as the Area Director backup.
